Toffee Cream Cheese Apple Dip

Move over, caramel apple dip! This Toffee Cream Cheese Apple Dip takes minutes to make, and is so yummy you may have to make another batch!

Toffee Cream Cheese Apple Dip

 Toffee Cream Cheese Apple Dip

I absolutely adore caramel dip, but this toffee cream cheese apple dip has long been a favorite of mine.  It’s incredibly easy to make (we’re talking 3 minutes), and you just can’t go wrong with anything made with cream cheese.  It’s intended for apples, but (if you’re my husband) you might just eat it with a spoon!

As soon as I tasted this dip for the first time years ago, I knew it was going to make into my recipe binder–which includes only our tried and true, family favorites.  It’s been there ever since.  The weather here was so fall-ish this weekend, that it seemed the perfect time to make it!

I love it because it is so easy, it’s always a hit, and yes, it does help encourage some apple eating along the way.   You really can make this all year long, but it’s perfect for fall parties, gatherings, football games, or for no reason at all! Kids love it, and it’s fun to serve at school fall or Halloween parties.  I’ll even send a small container in my kids’ lunches every once in awhile, as a special treat.

*As a note, when you’re buying the Heath Toffee Bits, it’s not the chocolate covered ones, it’s the plain toffee bits, “Bits O’ Brickle”.  I’ve found them at Walmart, and my local grocery store.

I make something very similar, except with chopped peanuts instead of toffee bits, love it!
