Valentine’s Day is a favorite at our house for lots of reasons. Pink and red and hearts and candy and all the things that make it such fun to celebrate. One of the highlights for my kids is taking valentines to their classmates. This year I created a really cute mini Tic-tac-toe game to give along with a handful of M&Ms (or other small red and pink candy)–all packaged up in clear bags. SO easy to make, and sure to be a hit!

Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays, and love to do things for my family and friends to celebrate. A valentine activity countdown is an annual tradition, featuring things like Pink Hot Chocolate, Love Buckets, and more. When it comes to valentines for my kids to take to school, some years I buy them, and some years I make them. Depends on how much time I have! But the beauty of these darling printable tic-tac-toe valentines is that they are really easy to make, and they’re just so fun!

3-inch resealable bags (I found them for $4.50/100 pack)
M&Ms or other small red and pink candies (9 per bag)
Tic-tac-toe printable (download below)
Scissors or paper trimmer

How to make

Download the printable below, and print on to white card stock. There are two options–a white card outlined in red, or a light pink card. They are both on the same printable, so you can choose to print one page or another–or both.

Cut out the tic-tac-toe squares. I like to leave just a little white border around the red border when cutting out the white squares–but you can cut close to the red if you’d like. They are 2.7 inches square, so they’ll fit easily in the 3-inch bags.
