Holiday Gift Ideas under $25

I love the holiday season for many reasons, but one of my most favorite things is giving gifts to family and friends. Here are holiday gift ideas under $25… they’re simple, thoughtful and won’t break the bank!

A Gift for Baking Lovers

Budget Friendly Gifts for Baking Lovers

Does someone in your life love to bake, or enjoy being in the kitchen?  Put together an adorable basket full of fun holiday baking items for less than $25! I found the most perfect (and super cute–love those handles!)  kitchen bin by Better Homes & Gardens, then filled it with sugar cookie mix, wooden spoons, Christmas cookie cutters & sprinkles.  After tying it all up with an adorable red gingham ribbon, it’s ready to give! You can also tailor what put inside the basket, depending on who you’re giving it to.

Cozy Throw Blanket

Who doesn’t love a cozy throw blanket?  They’re the best for snuggling up on the couch and also for adding to your holiday decor–which makes them such a great gift.  I found this super soft and generously sized blanket in a beautiful cream color, but it also comes in a festive red.  One other thing I love about it is how big it is…this is a full/queen size, which means I can use it on a couch or a bed. And yep, you guessed it…under $25!  (They also have a king size which is a little more.) Tie a cute wreath on to the top (it comes folded, with the ribbon), and it’s ready to go in minutes.

Kitchen Gift Basket

I just love yummy smelling hand and dish soap, so I thought it would be fun to find a super cute basket, and put a few kitchen items together for a fun holiday gift.  I looked for the basket first, and struck gold with a basket I found in the bath section! It’s a great size and look, and could be used in the kitchen or the bathroom.  In addition to the hand soap and dish soap, I also included a cleaning spray and darling apron.  Love!

Hot Chocolate Mug Gift

Budget Friendly Gift Ideas | Hot Chocolate Mug

I’m always looking for fun and budget conscious gifts I can give to the people around me, and in my children’s lives.  Something simple but adorable, and that shows them that I’m thinking of them that holiday season.   I decided to put together a darling mug filled with hot chocolate mix, and tied up with a cute tag, red baker’s twine, and a candy cane.  I adore the scalloped white mugs by Better Homes & Gardens, and they come in a set of 6 for less than $10.  That means I can put together quite a few gifts for a really great price. And they’re so cute!!

They’re super easy to make:

I filled clear plastic treat sacks with chocolate mix, printed the tag, then tied the top with red baker’s twine.  I slipped a candy cane through the center of the bow, then tucked the bag into a white mug.  That’s it!
