Vintage Faucets
A collection of vintage faucets, perfect for a bathroom or kitchen. See them in our cottage farmhouse, in different metals, including chrome, antique brass, and matte black.

While we were building Cottage on Blackberry Hill, I spent many hours searching for just the right vintage style faucets for our home. I love the antique feel and charm, and they are exactly the look I wanted to capture. I did search for truly antique pieces, but they are difficult to find, and not always in the best working order or a match to current plumbing necessities. So I’m very happy that there are new “antique sinks” for those of us that prefer that style. Finding vintage sinks were also part of the process, and I’m so happy with how everything turned out.
I incorporated three different metals throughout my home– antique brass, chrome, and black. I love them all for different reasons, and each of them work in a cottage farmhouse home. Many of my faucet selections were available in additional metals, which actually made it harder for me to decide!

Vintage Kitchen Faucets
In our kitchen I chose a high-back sink, which meant I needed a wall-mount faucet. This gorgeous vintage wall mount faucet was my favorite of all that I found. At the time I was contemplating what the main metal in my kitchen would be. I saw the options of this particular faucet, it sealed the deal, and I went with chrome. Chrome is a classic metal that’s been around forever, and will stand the test of time. It works perfectly in a farmhouse or cottage style home, and I absolutely adore this sink and faucet combo!

scullery
Through the antique doors in the above picture is the scullery, and once again I went with a vintage faucet design that includes the cross-style knobs. In this space I decided on black finish, but it was a touch choice. I could easily imagine chrome as well. (It also comes in an antique brass finish which I love.) Kingston Brass is one of my favorites, and has so many great options for vintage style faucets.

laundry room
In my laundry room I chose the cutest drainboard sink. The faucet is one of my very favorites, could work in a kitchen or bath too. With the cross handles, script lettering, and wall mount feature, it is vintage perfection. LOVE. I went back and forth on the metal choice–at first I thought I was going to go with black, but just knew that chrome would be the perfect fit. No regrets!

Vintage Bath Faucets
master bath
When I was selecting faucets for our master bathroom, I couldn’t decide on any that I loved and also worked with the raised sink. I needed a higher clearance that was just not available in a vintage style. So I opted to go with a kitchen faucet instead! (We didn’t install the sprayer that came with it.) It was exactly what I was looking for, and it the perfect faucet for the sink and the entire space. The antique brass finish is gorgeous!

girls’ bath
I used the same faucet in the girls’ bathroom, for the same reason…

boys’ bath
I found these sinks first, and knew they would be just the right fit for my design. The faucet came afterward, and this one was not only high enough to clear the sink but a great price too!

guest bath
I adore wall sinks, and I utilized them wherever I could, including the guest bath. I loved the vintage faucet I used in my laundry room so much that I also used it in this bath as well. Originally I was going to do this room in antique brass, and ordered it first. There ended up being a huge mixup with the lighting and plumbing, and ultimately I had to make a last minute switch to make it all work together. I decided on the black, and I do love it–but part of me is thinking I might get the same faucet in chrome and switch it out! We’ll see…but either way it’s so cute.

laundry bath
In this bathroom I chose a wall sink that came with the faucet. It comes in a couple of different metals, and while I loved the antique brass, I was going for either chrome or black in this room. It’s not as vintage looking as some of the other faucets I chose myself, but I think it fits the space really well.
