Rustic Themed Trail Mix Bar
An adorable rustic themed Trail Mix Bar that’s super easy to put together. Perfect for all kinds of entertaining, including baby showers, birthday parties, camping parties, scouting events, and more!
My friend was putting together a party at our church for her son, who was celebrating his Eagle Scout Award. She wanted to do a trail mix bar, and asked me to help her put together something that would be super cute, easy to do, and fitting for the occasion.
A rustic themed Trail Mix Bar was perfect! Burlap trees, galvanized buckets. buffalo check fabric, and a roll of kraft paper created the perfect rustic space. My theme is always simple, simple, simple!
Rustic Themed Trail Mix Bar
I started by covering the tables with kraft paper that came in a giant roll. I just used what I had (I like to keep a roll on hand–they’re so versatile, I use it for everything!), and it wasn’t quite wide enough, but we made it work. If you need to order paper, then just measure your tables ahead of time for a more exact fit.
Red and black buffalo check fabric went along the back of the tables. I used fabric by the yard, but you could also use a table runner or even a scrunched up tablecloth. I added faux trees–some in burlap and others in galvanized metal buckets–they both went really well with the fabric. They’re the ones I use to decorate for Christmas, and since I already had them, it was perfect for the budget.
All the different toppings went in small galvanized buckets, and then I used chalkboard labels to write was in each bucket.
Kraft paper ice cream cups were worked perfectly for people to fill with their trail mix toppings, but you could also use clear treat bags as well.
