Bloom Where You’re Planted: Housewarming Gift Idea
A good friend of mine just moved into her new house, and I wanted to drop by a little something to help her celebrate. With spring on the horizon, potted flowers were the just the thing for a housewarming gift idea!  I added a few extra touches, including a super cute watercolor printable tag that reads ” Bloom Where You’re Planted”.  I thought it was appropriate for a new home–new roots, a new place to grow and learn. It turned out SO cute–I love it!
SO cute, right!?!? Â I just love the watercolor effect on the tag–it’s perfect for these spring flowers! It was so easy to do, and took just a few minutes to put together.
Whether you make this for a housewarming gift, thinking of you, thank you, or just because…it’s sure to brighten anyone’s day!
Here’s how I did it…

DIRECTIONS:
I took these pictures early this morning before we left for church, and I completely forgot to take a “before” picture, but basically it had a plastic covering the bottom and sides of the pot when I bought it. Â I left the plastic there, but cut it down on the sides so you wouldn’t be able to see it once it was recovered.
I used cutey-cute white polka dot kraft wrapping paper, but plain brown would also be really cute, or another patterned wrap like this one. I cut out a square of paper big enough to fold up and around the sides of the pot, then used gingham ribbon to keep it in place.
I printed the tag onto white card stock, cut it out, distressed the edges with distress ink (my favorite thing ever!), then punched a hole at the top and tied it on to the gingham ribbon.
Super easy, and SUPER cute!!
The tag comes in two different options–with two flowers, or just one.
