Welcome, friends! I’m always so excited to open up my home for a holiday home tour. Fall is one of my absolute favorite seasons to decorate for, and I’m so happy you’re here with me. (All sources linked at the bottom of the post.)

Dining Room

An acorn wreath on my dutch door is the perfect fall touch for this room. I found it several years at Target, and now I’m kicking myself that I didn’t get another one.

Hobby Lobby is one of my go-to places to find really great faux flowers, greenery, and natural elements decor. I bought several different kinds this year when they were on sale, and I love all of them, especially these that I have on my table. I just love the muted brown against the white.

I found that weekly chalkboard calendar a few weeks ago, and I fell in love immediately. I’m waiting for new fine tip chalk markers to arrive, and then I’ll start writing on it. Maybe. I like it plain too! Although my husband would think I am totally crazy. And I might be. Ha! I hung my fall aprons on the hooks, and I think that’s my new apron spot. I’ve been looking for a good one!

Kitchen

On the wood island in the kitchen, I put a galvanized tiered tray and filled it with faux pumpkins. I always buy real ones too, but they don’t last the whole season, so I like having these on hand. A simple green wreath over the sink and a few pumpkins on the windowsill complete the simple look.

Those cute chalkboards are my menu boards, which I cleaned off right before I took these pictures! Usually I have a list of our weekly menu on there, because if I don’t, I have a tendency to hear “what’s for dinner”, at least 50 times a day. Mostly before breakfast.

And maybe one day I’ll have a rug under our kitchen table. Maybe. But for now, I’m appreciating how much easier it is to sweep and mop up after dinner, as opposed to vacuuming and cleaning a rug.

Laundry Room / Mud Room

I love love market tote baskets, and thought it was perfect for the bench in my laundry room / mudroom, filled with fall leaves. Blue ticking pillows and a cozy throw came next!

On the other side of the room, I added a simple white pitcher with tiny mustard fall flowers, and a green wreath to the door. This is such a busy thoroughfare, with lots of crazy kids back and forth, so I tend to keep it even more minimal than other spaces in the house. But just a simple vase with flowers can change the whole look!

Piano Room

This room used to be an office, and had desks and workspace for our kids as well. But they never used it!! They still preferred to their homework and artwork in the kitchen where I was, and so when we found this stunning vintage piano, we transformed it into our piano and music room. It’s one of my favorite spots in our home.

Family Room & Staircase

I found that adorable Fall Market sign and immediately fell in love! It’s perfect on the mantel, layered with chalkboards and fall wreath. Pillows are on the hearth, and a basket for cozy blankets is a must, especially as the weather gets chillier.

This year I added that cute black and cream plaid rug in front of the door that leads down to the basement, and I don’t know why I haven’t done it before!

Library

I can’t believe how much this space has changed since my fall home tour last year! A total transformation, really. We finished the built in floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and rolling ladder, replaced the carpet with hardwood, and added different furniture and curtains. The room is mostly white, with the contrast of the dark flooring, so all the room really needed was a pop of color. I filled a galvanized bucket with gorgeous fall leaves, then added a fall throw pillow on the couch paired with my favorite blue ticking and a few white pillows.

Master Bedroom

I honestly didn’t do a lot in this room, and I don’t usually for fall. But I love to add cute pillows, like these gorgeous grain stripe pillows and fall thankful pillow. I was taking pictures while I moved things around, trying to decide how I wanted them to be, and I still may move a couple of them!

Fall Front Porch

Usually I include pictures of our front porch, but I haven’t been able to go get mums or pumpkins yet, so it’s still halfway finished. It’s been such a busy September, especially since we are frantically trying to finish building our barn before it snows and gets really cold. And where we live, we don’t have too long! But I will include a picture of last year’s porch (all the details here, including the adorable rug!), because I think I’ll do it very similar to this–I loved it! Super easy, and super cute.
