Striped & Polka Dot Fall Wood Candlesticks
Adorable, easy, and inexpensive–these striped & polka dot fall wood candlesticks are perfect for your Thanksgiving table and fall decor!
You probably all know by now how much I love polka dots and stripes. I’ve used them in lots of my projects, with two of my favorites being Peppermint Striped Candlesticks and Striped & Polka Dot Pumpkins. I love them so much that I simply couldn’t resist making a set in brown & white for Thanksgiving table centerpieces.  They’re easy, adorable, and really inexpensive–three of my favorite things!

SO SO cute! I use battery-operated tea lights, so they’re totally safe to use indoors, and they look so pretty all lit up. They’re perfect on the kitchen table, mantel, shelf, table, or anywhere!
Striped & Polka Dot Fall Wood Candlesticks
I made them exactly like I did the Striped & Polka Dot Pumpkins, so you can follow the directions there to make your own set.
The only difference is that I used a 1 1/2 inch spade bit so that it would be big enough for a tea light. I used Rustoleum spray paint in flat white and satin espresso brown. Don’t be afraid to sand, sand, sand! You certainly don’t have to, but I think in this case, the heavy distressing lends them their charm. I use Frog Tape to make the stripes, and the 1.41 inch size works out perfectly on the 10-inch candlestick. Â I just eyeball it–putting a strip of tape at the top, then leaving a space that same width, then other piece of tape, and so on until the bottom.
You can create the designs however you like–instead of polka dots, do one a solid brown, one a solid white, and the third one striped.  Or, any combination that you like best!
They would also make darling gifts–perfect for a hostess, teachers, friends, neighbors, and more! Â They’re also perfect for a girls’ craft night–go in on the 4×4 posts together and split the cost to make them even more budget-friendly. Â Plus, it’s always more fun crafting with friends!

How Do you get the whole for the candle
Hi, Lisa! It’s all detailed in the post, and I’ve included links to the specific drill bits I used if that helps. If you have any questions, please let me know!
How/what did you use to make dits?
The dots I cut out on my Silhouette Cameo. But you can always purchase large round stickers, and they would do the same thing!
