- Melt the butter in a glass bowl or other microwave safe bowl. Add the brown sugar, 2 T. half and half, cinnamon, salt, and ground cloves. 
- Microwave for about 30 seconds, then add the 1 T half and half and 1 T. flour. 
- Microwave just until bubbly, then remove and whisk briskly until well blended. 
- Serve over pancakes, waffles, French toast, or even with sliced applies! Makes about 1 cup. Double or triple as needed.
