Candy Cane Marshmallow Dippers

  • Unwrap the candy canes. Place 10 of them in a sandwich bag, and crush them with a rolling pin. Pour out onto a place.
  • Melt the chocolate chips in a glass bowl (30 second increments) in the microwave until smooth.
  • Stick a candy cane in the middle of each marshmallow, dip in chocolate, then roll in the crushed peppermint. Set on wax paper to harden.

Notes

The total count can really vary--depending on much chocolate you use when dipping, and how much of the crushed peppermint you use at one time.  To stretch the chocolate, hold it over the glass bowl and let the excess drip off before rolling in the crushed candy cane.
