October is NEXT week, people.  Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like it was just June?  The last quarter of the year is my most favorite, but it always goes the fastest.  Here is upstate New York the trees are just starting to change colors, the air is getting a little more crisp at night, and all I want to do is bake apple pies and wear cozy sweaters!  To quote Anne of Green Gables, “I’m so happy I live in a world where there are Octobers!” October also means Halloween, and I embrace all of the “cute part” of the holiday.  It means darling costumes, candy, yummy food, jack-o-lanterns, trick-or-treating, and parties!

Parties are on my mind right now, and today I’m sharing a super cute printable that’s perfect as a party favor for Halloween parties, or as a fun gift. Easy + cute = my favorite thing!

I love it tied on to this cute treat bag, but you can do anything!  A loaf of pumpkin bread, plate of cookies, mason jar or milk bottle filled with Halloween candy–you could even tie it directly on to a bag of candy from the store if you were in a time crunch!

That’s what I love about printables…they are the simplest and most cost-effective way to dress up any gift.  Love!!

I printed the tags on to white card stock, and I think a kraft-colored card stock would be adorable too.  I cut out the tags, angling the top with my scissors to give it the “official” tag look. That’s totally optional–you can leave it rectangle if you like!  I also added black Distress Ink around the edges, then punched a hole in the top, and attached it to the treat bag with orange baker’s twine.  Simple!  Adorable!

  1. Love those treat bags! Where did you find them? I live in hickville and it’s so hard to find cute things :(

    1. It’s been awhile, but I think I got them online! I like to order from etsy, but also Michael’s and Hobby Lobby have a great online sections. Try amazon–that’s also one of my go-to places!
