Printable Valentine Bookmarks
Printable Valentine Bookmarks…perfect for the classroom and more. If you’re looking for a non-candy Valentine idea, or even something to tie on to a Valentine treat, this is for you! Free download included.

We love celebrating Valentine’s Day at our house. We have a Valentine countdown that’s so fun and easy — something simple for every day the 1st through the 14th, like Pink Hot Chocolate, Heart Paper Chains, Love Buckets. But one of the highlights for my kids is taking Valentines to their friends at school. Often they brought treats, but one year the elementary school stopped allowing candy Valentines.
That’s when I created a non-candy valentine idea that won’t break the bank–a darling Valentine bookmark that’s super easy. Just print and cut! I even have an editable version in case you’d like to customize with names.
Table of contents

Supplies
- White cardstock
- Ribbon (optional)
- Laminator (optional)
- Scissors
How to make
These could not be easier–just print on to white cardstock, cut them out, then fill in the to and from areas. I’m including four different color options, and a download that includes a multi-color pack.
I like to laminate the ones we make (my laminator is one of my favorite things!), but that’s totally optional. You could also punch a hole in the top of each bookmark and add a bit of ribbon if you want a little something extra.

WOW, no candy, it’s kind of rite of passage! But, I’m with you, I don’t want it here –I am weak-willed and eat 99% of it! We found cool pencils and are going to make these to accompany them, thanks, super cute!
You’re right–it’s totally weird not to be making candy valentines, or have them at all! But I’m with you–if it’s here, I’ll eat it! The pencils will be perfect with the bookmarks! xoxo
That’s really awesome that there is no candy allowed this year. This year we are making bracelets for the kids in the class.
That sounds perfect!
Could you redo these with 2017 perhaps? :)
You’re early for Valentine’s Day 2017, lol!! Yes, I’ll do them with the new date and update the post!

Have you updated these and I missed it? I would love to use them for my classroom.
They are all updated for 2017!! :)
is it possible to take these and change some of the wording around or add fonts? I love this and would love to give these to my students for a different “small” gift. Thanks so much!
Can you update the date?
These are so adorable and perfect! I’m going to add the pencil too. Thank you so much for the idea and creativity!
You are so welcome!! xoxo
I love these!! Such a great idea! These would be perfect for a teacher appreciation gift too! We were planning on giving them a book for their class libraries! Is it possible for you to make one without the date?
Are you still interested in these without a date?

Thank you so much for these! My oldest is always looking for a bookmark, so when I realized Valentine’s Day is in ONE WEEK, I thought bookmarks would be fun. You saved me hours! Thanks for sharing your hard work and talent!
Oh, I’m so glad, Kelli! Happy Valentine’s Day!!! xoxo
These are amazing! Do you happen to have a black and white version? I would love for my 18 month old to be able to color on them for his friends. Thanks!
I’m sorry, I don’t have a black and white version, but that’s a super fun idea! If I have extra time this week, I might have to create it. Stay tuned! xo
Are you updating these for 2019? This is such a great idea for the kiddos in my class
They’re all updated and ready for download!! xo

Thank you so much!!!!
Are you going to update these for 2020 ?
All updated and ready to go for 2020!! xoxo
Hello,
These are really nice looking but I was wondering if there is there a version that has black writing (rather than white) so I can print it on colorful paper.
We don’t have color ink at school.
Thanks!
I’m so sorry, I don’t have a version like that, but that’s a good idea for next year!!
