Thanksgiving for the Cottage Kitchen

When I think of a cozy cottage kitchen, vintage florals, gingham, and linen come to my mind. I love adding small details like scallops and bows, featuring different textures and patterns to create a lovely yet simple kitchen & table. They are perfect for Thanksgiving, and the entire fall season.

Vintage floral dishes – I adore these in brown, but I also have them in the blue. Both are perfection and work for fall.

Velvet bow napkin rings – Love at first sight! At the same time elegant and charming, these darling napkin rings have my heart.

Ruffle Gingham Table Runner – Gingham is my true obsession. And the ruffles? Cozy cottage perfection.

Linen Ruffle Tablecloth – Linen is such a lovely basic for a cottage kitchen. The neutral color means you can pair it with anything, making it very versatile.

Brown gingham napkins – If you have a neutral table runner or tablecloth, add gingham napkins.

Scalloped cutting boards – Use this not only as cutting boards, but for serving as well.

Thanksgiving Cottage Decor

Who can resist a yummy smelling fall candle? Not me! I love my home to smell good, and it emits such a cozy feeling. The smell of wood burning is one of my favorite fall and winter smells, and I also love seeing a stack of wood logs inside my home. I like to place them inside a wire basket and set them on my hearth.

And cozy blankets…not only do they make lovely decor, but I like to have enough of them for our whole family. I found the Thankful pillow in a darling boutique near me, and then happened to stumble across it online. I’m thrilled to be able to share it with you, because it’s my new favorite!

Brown Ruffle Pillow – Brown + ruffles?

Toile Pumpkins – I adore the simplicity and vintage style of this darling ceramic pumpkin–and there are more sizes too.

Fall stems – I’m always looking for fall stems that are just the right color, and these are in my cart right now!

Vintage brass taper candle holders – These are on my family room mantel, and I absolutely love them.

Taper candles – Cream is my favorite to go with vintage or antique brass, and all the Thanksgiving colors.

Berry wreath – What a lovely wreath, perfect for any door, inside or out.

Chunky knit throw – Can you have enough cozy throws through the fall and winter?

Wood logs – These logs evoke coziness and warmth; set them next to your fireplace in a basket.

Basket with handles – I love a good basket with handles, perfect for blankets and pillows.

Fall candle – Anything cinnamon and spice is my favorite to bring in the rich smells of fall.
