Last week we moved from upstate New York, and said goodbye to our home of nearly 10 years, Old Salt Farm.
We purchased a beautiful piece of property–seven acres of land we purchased in North Carolina—toward the mountains, not the coast—and soon I’ll be sharing another journey as we begin a new adventure and build a new home.
As we were exploring the property, we discovered hundreds of thousands of blackberries, growing wild along one whole side of the land, which is set up on a hill. I’d been debating what to call our new home, as it’s one of my favorite ways to feel like it’s ours. But after that, the name came easily, and Cottage on Blackberry Hill came to be.

You’ll be able to follow along, and I’ll still be here, posting about our journey. You can find all Cottage on Blackberry Hill posts in one place!

Find me on Instagram too–with even more pictures of the process.
