Welcome to Old Salt Farm! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a wife and mama to six—including two sets of twins. We recently moved from our cozy farmhouse in the woods of upstate New York (Old Salt Farm) to the woods North Carolina. Our home is now Cottage on Blackberry Hill, which we designed and built. Our life is all about turning this house into a warm, welcoming space for our family of eight. From DIY projects to home decor, I’m always working on a budget to create a beautiful, functional space with a simple, cottage farmhouse feel.

With over 20 years of DIY experience, I’ve been sharing ideas and inspiration since 2009. I hold a degree in Finance and Business and have had the privilege of partnering with incredible brands like Better Homes & Gardens, Delta Faucet, American Farmhouse Style, Walmart, and HP. I’ve also been honored to be named a Better Homes & Gardens Stylemaker every year since 2017.

I’m passionate about celebrating holidays and creating meaningful traditions to bring loved ones together. That’s why I wrote Simply Tradition, a book filled with over 70 easy holiday ideas to make family moments extra special. You’ll also find easy recipes, simple gift ideas, and tips for keeping life organized—because you don’t have to spend a lot of money or be fancy to create a home you love.
