These darling Rudolph Peanut Butter Cookies are so easy, fast, and yummy! A fun festive cookie that kids love to help make, and everyone loves to eat!

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with a baking mat or parchment paper.
  • Mix the sugar and peanut butter together, then add baking soda and eggs. Mix well, then stir in the chocolate chips. (I've also used a wooden spoon...no mixer... when I was in a hurry--and It worked great!)
  • Roll the dough into balls and place on the prepared baking sheet, then flatten them just a bit with your fingers. Bake for 9-10 minutes, or until the edges are set. Let the cookies cool for a few minutes before removing from cookie sheet.
  • While they’re baking, put the red M&Ms and chocolate chips (you can use mini chocolate chips too) in bowls, and break the pretzel pieces so they’re ready to go. As soon as they come out of the oven, add the red M&M for the nose, chocolate chips for the eyes, and broken pretzel pieces for the antlers. If you wait too long to add the embellishments, they won't stick to the cookie, and will fall off.  Let cool completely.

Notes

*These cookies will last for 5-7 days in an airtight container. If they make it that long. :)
*You can easily halve this recipe, or even double it.  I like to make a bigger batch because we have so many people, but if you need less, just cut it in half.
*I use creamy peanut butter, but crunchy peanut butter works too!
*Instead of making these cookies from scratch, you can always use a Peanut Butter Cookie Mix to save time!
