- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 2/3 cup butter
- 2/3 cup whipping cream (heavy cream)
- dash salt
Mix all ingredients in a large saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring
constantly, until the mixture comes to a full boil —around 5 or 6 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 or so minutes, then pour it into a jar. Refrigerate until ready to
serve. You can serve it warm or cold.
*Makes about 2 cups. You can refrigerate it for about a week.
