  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup melted butter Yes, another one! Keep them separate.
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

Cinnamon Glaze

  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons very soft butter
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (or to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • dash salt

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add the eggs, vanilla, milk, and 1/2 c. melted butter, and mix well. Pour into a greased loaf pan. Melt the second 1/2 c. butter, and stir in the cinnamon, flour, and brown sugar. Pour on top of the batter and swirl through with a butter knife, making sure to get all the way to the bottom. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until done through.
  • While it's baking, make the Cinnamon Glaze. Place the powdered sugar and softened butter in a bowl Add the milk a little bit at a time until you get the right consistency. Add the vanilla and salt, mix well. Mix in the cinnamon.
  • When the bread is finished baking, cool for 15 minutes before drizzling the glaze over the top.
