A festive and yummy trail mix perfect for Valentine's Day!

Ingredients

Trail Mix: Use the ingredients you like!

White Chocolate Drizzle

  • White chocolate melting wafers

Instructions

  • You'll love how easy this is! In a big bowl, combine all your trail mix ingredients. This batch I used waffle pretzels, Rice Chex, and peanut butter M&Ms--butI'll switch it up depending what I have on hand. It's the red, white, and pinkM&Ms that really make this a Valentine treat, so don't skip on those! I usually use peanut butter M&Ms, since those are our favorite, but you can easily use another type. If you need nut-free, plain M&Ms are a good option.
The amounts really depend on how much you want to make or what you need. All ingredients are really up to your personal preference as well. Typically I'll use a whole bag of M&Ms, 2 cups of pretzels, and 2 cups of Rice Chex--plus a few other things thrown in if I have them on hand.
Line a cookie sheet (or two, depending on how much you have) with parchment paper.Spread the trail mix out in a single layer. Follow the directions on the white chocolate melting wafers and microwave until smooth. You can also use white chocolate chips. Melt them for 30-45 seconds in a microwave-safe bowl, then stir. Put them back in the microwave in 10 second increments as needed, until you can stir it smooth.
Drizzle the white chocolate on top of the trail mix, then let sit until hardened. Break into pieces, and store in an airtight container until ready to serve.
