I pinned this quote because it really speaks to me.  A few years ago I could never have imagined that I would become a long distance runner–running half marathons, and a full marathon–but it proved to me that when you set a goal, and work hard to reach it, you will do things you might never have thought possible.

{organization & cleaning}

 I am not a fan of tile floors, mostly because they are SO difficult to keep clean.  We built our first house, and I purposefully did not use any tile.    When we moved to Texas, it’s very prevalent, and was in pretty much every house we looked at during our house hunting trip.  I now have a TON of large tile through my entry, foyer, kitchen, and dining area, and I have to mop every two days to keep on top of it.  Despite all of that, the grout is still dirty, and I wasn’t relishing the thought of using toothbrush on 700 square feet of tile.  When I saw this pin, I think I heard angels singing.  For reals.

Guess what our next build project is?  Okay, right now we’re working on library bookshelves, then a bed for my oldest, THEN this project.  ☺ Since Sweet Caroline was such a lovely surprise, we bought our home with less bedrooms than we really need. So…our three girls will need to be in a room together, as soon as she gets big enough.  The room isn’t huge, so three-tiered bunk beds it is! I love the look of them, and think they will be so cute when they’re all done!  We always create our own plans, but I pinned this to get some ideas of how they put their’s together.  It’s a perfect idea when you need to fit more kids in a room, but want to keep the space.  Great for cabins, guest rooms, kids rooms, and more!

Our family garden is one of the best things about summer…LOVE all those fresh fruits and vegetables! Whether you have your own garden, or stock up at your local farmer’s market or orchard, it’s good to know how to freeze them to enjoy in the months they aren’t in season.

  4. Hi Kiereste

    I love the one font you showcased in the 25 fonts of colour – Sage FS to be precise but I cant find the font on google when I type it in!

    Do you have any other way of tracking it down?

    Thanks
