Either it’s a good thing to have this category after those brownies, or a bad thing, lol. This is my favorite half-marathon training program. It’s for beginners–it assumes you have been running for 4 weeks and can run for 30 minutes. I used it for my very first half, and have used it ever since. I even use it for maintenance, I love it so much! It’s a 4 day a week schedule, and it always worked really well for me! If you’ve always thought you couldn’t ever run a half marathon, I’m here to tell you that you can!!

{organization & cleaning}
I pinned this just based on the title of the post…33 Meticulous Cleaning Tricks for the OCD Person Inside of You! I’m kind of…well…OCD when it comes to cleaning, and I loved reading these ideas. I definitely learned some new tricks! This is a great post for everyone–OCD or not!

I love dressing my kids up in red, white & blue on the 4th of July, so I’m always excited when I come across a really cute clothing idea–especially for my girls. This ric-rac tee is SO darling, and easy! LOVE it!

I use burlap in a lot of my crafts, so this pin on how to wash and cut burlap really caught my eye.

{books}
Books are my passion, and have been my entire life. I can’t tell you how thrilled I am that my girls are getting old to read all of my favorites. All-of-a-Kind Family is most definitely at the top of my list. This series, written by Sydney Taylor, takes place in turn-of-the-century New York’s Lower East Side, and tells the story of five sisters…Ella, Henny, Sarah, Charlotte, and Gertie. Their adventures are delightful! It’s also a great series to read aloud…

I loved All-of-a-Kind Family growing up! I need to find it for my almost eight year old daughter. Have you read the Betsy-Tacy books? We just found them. So cute!
Yes!! LOVE the Betsy/Tacy/Tib books! My girls just checked them out this week too—
I love these fun posts!! That “Open when you…” idea is so sweet! Pinning that for later.
That was one of my favorites, too!!! xoxo
Yea! Fun pins-checking them out! I read All Of a Kind Family last year and I just couldn’t get into it. :-( Maybe it’s because I have no nostalgia with them. Though I DID like the Little House books and I don’t love them now either-kind of the same genre. I can see the appeal for AOAKF, though!
To get the smell of
Garlic off your hands after chopping fresh garlic. Rub your hands on a stainless steel sink or run your fingers on spoons then rub your hands with lemon juice and wash.
You won’t have the lingering spell of garlic on your hands for days.
Thanks so much for the tip, Danielle!!! xoxo
