Holiday Baking Kitchen Favorites
One of the best parts of the holiday season is baking for family and friends, and I’ve gathered a list of holiday baking kitchen favorites so you have everything you need!

Baking is one of the most fun parts of the holiday season. Not only do I love to make our favorites, but trying new recipes is also part of the fun. When you’re in the kitchen, it’s nice to have everything you need to make your holiday baking go smoothly. So I’ve gathered a bunch of kitchen favorites to share that are adorable + functional!
One of the places I look first for baking essentials is Walmart. I always go online to the Walmart Home section, because there are so many options! The prices are reasonable, and I can find things that fit my style and my budget.
Thanks to Walmart for sponsoring this post. As always, 100% of the opinions are mine. Affiliate links are included for your convenience. If you click on a link and make a purchase, I’ll receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.
Mixers
A good mixer is definitely a holiday baking must have. I use both a stand mixer and a hand mixer, but there were many years where I only used a hand mixer. Depending on what your needs are, and what your budget is, you can invest in one or both. A really good stand mixer can last many, many years, and you may only ever need to buy one! I have a KitchenAid mixer, and I LOVE it. And this red? SO perfect for Christmas, the holidays, and the entire year!
Tools
Nothing beats a really good set of measuring cups, and I absolutely adore the copper set! SO cute! A sifter is something that can really make a difference in your holiday baking, and they’re not very expensive. This darling shortbread cutter makes the process so much easier!
Could you just die over the embossed rolling pin? Eeeek! Talk about adorable, and so festive and fun. Makes your baking look like a million bucks, and it’s so easy! The marble rolling pin is perfect for everything else, and it looks beautiful at the same time. Don’t forget about baking basics, like a really good set of baking pans and cookie sheets. There will get used time and time again, so they’re an important purchase. I’m seriously in love with the copper!
I went with out wire cooling racks for a few years, then I finally broke down and bought some. I don’t know why I waited so long! I love this tiered set, because it really saves counter space. Pioneer Woman did it again with this festive holiday floral baking set–it includes mixing bowls, measuring spoons, and measuring cups. They’re like decor and baking utensils all in one! When I saw this pie dish, I knew it had to go on my list. A really good pie dish is important to have in your kitchen, and it would also make a great gift since it can be personalized!
An apron is a baking must-have for me. Whether I’m in my pajamas or regular clothes, saving them from being covered in flour is always a good thing! This darling red and white striped apron just screams the holidays. Glass jars are one of my favorite ways to store baking basics like flour and sugar. They look cute on a counter, or inside a pantry.
Cookie Cutters
I’m seriously obsessed with cookie cutters. They make everything more fun! And you don’t have to be a professional baker or decorator to enjoy them. My kids absolutely love sitting down to decorate cookies, and it’s one of our favorite Christmas activities. I LOVE gingerbread men…aren’t they adorable! And the ugly sweater cookie set? I’m dying!!
Sprinkles + Baking Kits
A good set of sprinkles is definitely a holiday baking must-have. I may or may not be able to resist them in any form. There’s just something about them! Gingerbread is a holiday staple at our house. Some years are great for baking your own, and other years I just want a DIY kit that we can decorate. Either way, these will cover you.
