Office Storage Ideas

Having enough storage and being able to organize everything in our office has been my priority the last couple of weeks.  I was able to find the cutest bins and baskets, and an organizer that not only pulled the space together, but gave me much needed storage space.  I’m still in the process of getting it decorated (I’ll share details soon), but I wanted to show you these awesome office storage ideas!

This space serves as an office, homework area for my kids (there is a long desk on the other side of the room that we made for them), and storage space for my project and craft supplies. Okay, I’ll be honest–I have a ton more in the basement, but I keep the most-used items in this room.  The room is pretty good sized, but barn doors one side (opening to the front entry), a large window on one wall (desk is there), and French doors taking up space on the other two walls, I actually have limited wall space.  This made the organization even more critical, to make sure I could fit what I needed.

I started with this awesome 8-cube organizer by Better Homes & Gardens. It also fits these darling wire baskets perfectly in each open space, and I love how it looks. I have six kids, so I got a basket for each one of them.  Since this room serves as a homework area, these baskets will hold papers, books, and other school-related items inside them.  I’m really, really excited to have a designated space for not only office storage, but homework and school too.

On there other wall, I filled super cute galvanized bins with all project supplies…baker’s twine, ribbon, washi tape, adhesives, and more.  Glass jars contain ribbon spools and scraps.  I keep art supplies and kids’ scissors in metal pails on the layered tray, and the black numbered storage bins hold punches, pens, distress ink, and other items I need to keep up high.  In the cabinets on the bottom I keep baskets of scrapbook paper and other office supplies.

I am thrilled with the organization and office storage, and how cute it is at the same time!
