{christmas with a veteran}
It’s here! I’ve been looking forward to this week since September, and it’s finally here. As part of The Home Depot’s Celebration of Service, I get to visit with a local veteran and his family, and take them some really fun Christmas decorations.
I got about 4 large boxes in the mail this week, and I loved opening them up to see what was inside!
Aren’t they so cute? I’m loving that aqua and red, with the silver!
This particular veteran served in the war in Iraq, and retired from the Army in 2011. He has a wife and 3 year old daughter. and I’m thrilled to meet all of them. I’m also really looking forward to taking my oldest son with me–it’s going to be a great night!
I will definitely let you know how it goes, and share pictures. :)
