Easy organization: keep the Christmas cards you receive on a ring!

I’m kind of in love with book rings.  This holiday season it was the perfect answer to keeping my Christmas cards under control, and I’m excited to share with you this simple holiday organization tip!

I love being able to see all the Christmas cards and letters we receive–it’s one of my favorite things!  I look at them all month, then put them in to my Christmas Memories binder after Christmas.   I get a lot of letters and pictures along with cards, and sometimes those have been more difficult to hang or clip up.  I’ve used several different methods, but this year I decided to try something a little different.

Keep your Christmas cards on a ring! | Easy Organization | oldsaltfarm.com

I just punched a hole in the corner of each card and letter, slid them onto a large book ring, and adorned with a cute ribbon.  I hung it on a hook in my front entry, and I think it’s my favorite method so far!  My kids love taking it down and looking through it, and it’s SO easy to add to. It keeps all the letters, cards, and pictures in one place, and doesn’t take up much space.  {LOVE}

 Hang it up, lay it out on a coffee table, end table or ottoman…it’s perfect anywhere!

Share and save for later!

    Well, that is just brilliant! That’s better than stuffing them into little pockets where you can’t see them. ( yeah, that’s my method). I’m going to do this! Thanks for sharing.

    I love the front Family card or image on your ring binder, is that a card? Or a printable? I would love to see what the inside says. Perfect for my in-laws this year.

      It’s a card, and I would love to show you the inside, but everything is in storage, while we are in temporary housing. So sorry! I would be happy to snap a picture of the inside for you if I could. xoxo
